THE FOUNDER’S YOUNGER YEARS

Mario Dellicompagni and his siblings were born in the UK. His father originated from Pescara, Abruzzo, Italy, before moving to the UK as a young adult. Mario’s father was a self-taught barber, and Mario to this day has kept his original tools of the trade. Mario’s mother originated from Limerick, Southern Ireland.

At the end of World War Two, Mario’s Italian uncle (Uncle Alf) brought some of the family over to the UK for work, and the family has not looked back since.

​

Mario’s father taught him the value of hard work, while his mother taught him the power of being caring. His cousins from a successful hairdressing brand, helped him to discover his passion for the craft, and the need for belief and focus. After many years of perfecting all the skills needed for the business world, it was time for Mario to start what we know today as: The HC Group

If Mario had one sentence to say to anyone it would be: -
“Whatever you think about, eventually you will become; so always have positive thoughts and never let go of your dreams...never! - Provide more service than you are paid for and you will be destined for success!”

​

Too many people snatch our dreams away from us, or we allow fear to blind our mind to the reality that people much less fortunate than us have accomplished outstanding things in life that we can not even imagine. All because they believed in a dream and guarded it with their lives.

However, you have to act in harmony with your dreams, values, and beliefs.
It's no good having a dream of losing weight and start eating cakes every night.
